The Spud Man
Good floury potatoes have long been an obsession with The Spud Man, aka Pat O'Dwyer.
Some years ago, Pat discovered great potatoes in Wexford - he had traced them from West Clare to the source at Stephen and Marina Hatton's farm near Clonroche.
Pat has travelled down on a regular basis since then to get spuds for himself, family, friends and neighbours, and is looking forward to making them available to a much wider audience at the market.
