Bodegas Domeca de Jaruata

Bodegas de Jaruata is a family owned business run by Jose Vincente Domeco de Jaruata and his son, of the same name.

Vineyard Area : 90 hA.

Grapes Grown : Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo. 

Winemaking is in the blood and the family have been making wine from at least the 1880’s  when Jose Vincente’s grandfather was making wine.

The Bodega was built in 1995. The property also consists of 90 hA’s of vineyards spread across 4 communes (Aldeanueva de Ebro, Alfaro,Autol and Rincon de Soto) on chalky clay soils.  All the wine produced comes from the family vineyards.

The wines are produced with the utmost care and attention in the vineyards, with close attention to organic principals (they also produce organically certified wine). We think it shines through in all their wines!
